Our Evolution

This is the first time in history a 'reality' approach is applied to journalism, so we'll have to see how things develop from here. How can a reality style approach by journalists using the Twitter lifeline to document their efforts, become a 'product'? We'll take the trial and error approach and just hope something cool evolves. Using Twitter journalistically, much of your efforts will involve setting a stage for a hyper interesting experience. Stage management thus far has been a process that's been conducted entirely in the journalist's head. What is going to happen on the ReporTwitters site will become the world's first documented journalist stage management efforts and since journalists can't help but review all the time, analysis of the events will likely materialize spontaneously.

You can be part of shaping the site, redefining the latest of journalistic trends! For the time being, publishing your Twitters alongside an article offers you the chance to show off your reporting skills and be entertaining at the same time. Tell people about the circumstances amid which you are doing your work. Inform them of the way you got past that PR guy. Or how you found that earth shattering information on that obscure list. Outsiders can even feed you information whilst you are at work. Editors are encouraged to run your Twitters in conjuction with your normal articles to give audiences the 'inside experience'. It adds extra buzz to your journalistic endeavors and it makes for great reading.
